We had pasta with local mushroom and truffle sauce. The pasta is perfectly cooked - al dante. The sauce is aromatic. We also tried the sirloin steak woth red wine sauce - also great!
For dessert, tiramisu with almond cookies (the restaurant's special) is tiramisu with a little twist, instead of ladyfingers - I think somehow they use almond cookies instead.
The place is nice and cozy, both inside and outside seatings.

The rucola was fragrant and peppery, the ham deeply flavorful with just the right hint of saltiness, and the caprino added a creamy tang that tied everything together beautifully. One sandwich would have easily been enough to share between two people, but it was so good I didn’t mind having my own. As a tourist, I highly recommend stopping here for lunch! Not only was the service great, but the sandwiches (schiacciati) were absolutely fantastic and well portioned. Excellent value!

Yes! Delicious, authentic, warm sandwiches with olive oil and salt on top. The staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. Not very busy at 11:45 am on a Saturday, fantastic value! Efficient and good value. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

It is a small place, and most people take out, but they have some chairs inside. Their prices are great for Florence. They have a lot of sandwich options, and you can add ingredients. They also have a daily dish, that changes everyday, and it was great when we were there. And the most important, the staff is super nice. They are so welcoming and friendly. This place is incredible! Our air bnb host left a list of local spots that he loved and we decided to check it out. I’m so happy we did. My husband and I both agreed it was the best sandwiches we’ve had in our lives. A must try. *update we visited twice, we just couldn’t help it*

Very good sandwich shop!! I got the praha ham and it was absolutely delicious. Very crispy bread and amazing olives. The owner was super nice and gave me cheese recommendation and allowed me to modify my order. Was decently salty so make sure you either buy or bring water.

This might be the most delicious, heavenly (celeste) sandwich I ever enjoyed…these photos are from my second visit. I went multiple times on my visit to Florence. The men behind the counter are very kind, polite, and charming. Wonderful place!
